We did it! Ok, so I know I am so behind but here are the pics from our triathlon. I was so happy to just finish. Next time I have a goal to run the whole 5k portion. The lake was intimidating, but I completed it, and that was my goal. My mom and Deven did awesome! I must say it is kind of nice to have it behind us.

A few nights ago we went to the Zermatt to check out the ice castles. They are SOO cool! We ended up going back later that night to see them in the dark too. I don't think the pictures do them justice, but still ended up looking pretty good in the pics.

Koryn had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave. She still is talking about the ICE.

So I think I have officially gotten in over my head...BUT it isn't going to stop me. I signed up for a TRIATHLON! Me, my mom, brother Deven, brother Jordan (hopefully), cousin Katrina, Aunt Kathy, and cousin Kim are all doing the Echo Tri.

I have needed some motivation, and hopefully this is it! I am going to start personal training in the next few weeks to try to get ready. I haven't been doing so good the last couple of months, so it is time to get my butt in gear! WISH ME LUCK!

On November 28th my brother DEVEN returned from his mission. My parents flew to Argentina the week before to get him. He left two weeks before I had Koryn. He came home to two new neices (Koryn and Elizabeth) and one new nephew (Easton). Kolby, Ali and their family were able to be here when he came home, it was awesome. It is so good to have him home!

I can't believe my BABY is 2! Koryn had her second birthday on the 27th. She was with her dad for a few days, and he had a little party for her at Jungle Jim's. She loved it. She ran wild, rode the rides, and ate pizza! Benny and his family had a cute princess cake made for her.

My family ended up celebrating her birthday the next day. My parents and my brother Deven returned from Argenting earlier that day. She had a stack of gifts, I must say she was spoiled!

I couldn't resist not posting these pics. I think they are so funny. Koryn was just chillin', drinking her chocolate milk with her sunglasses on upside down. It was a little while ago, hence the summer outfit.

Once again I am going to try to be better at taking pics and posting, although I don't think anyone follows my blog, oh wait there is two. Thanks to those that comment on my sorry blog, it is fun to hear from someone. Okay I will stop feeling sorry for myself and continue blogging.

Elizabeth Grace Day

Elizabeth was born on September 6th. Her mom delivered completely natural, and seriously still amazes all of us. Ali is the perfect pregnant woman! She acts as if NOTHING phases her. Might I add, she was painting the baby's dresser, and trying to finish up her list of to do's on the day she was admitted to the hospital. I think this girl is pretty awesome! I have also heard the she is up and at em since my mom has been there on Monday (the day after the baby was born). Al...you make the rest of us look horrible. jk.

We are so excited for the newest little member, and can't wait to hold her. We love you guys, and hope all is going great.

I am going to apologize in advance. I have posted a ton of pics of my little one. I seriously can't get enough of this sweet girl. I was a little worried that her pics wouldn't turn out to good, because she was soooo busy when she was having them taken. Mindy Young (pink lemon photography) is amazing!! I love her work! My little nephew Easton just had his pictures taken by Mindy as well. I hope I can get a hold of the disc so I can post some of him on here too! She isn't super smiley, but boy are they cute!

Last week Koryn, my mom, Jordan, Meagan, Easton and I headed to Seven Peaks. We were only there a few hours cause the kiddos could only handle so much, and the weather was not as nice as we had hoped. the GRADUATE

My older, very smart brother just finished LAW SCHOOL!! I wanted to let him know how amazing I think he is. He has been so dedicated the past three years, and now it is paying off. Congratulations Kolb, on the huge milestone you and your family have reached!

My whole family, not including Elder Deven :( , were able to go to Cleavland the last weekend in May, to celebrate. Kolby did not walk with his class, by choice, so we went about two weeks after the fact to hope for some good weather. We had a lot of fun!

While we were there we did a lot of different things. We ate good food, we went to a Cleavland Indians game, had late nights playing NeRtS, we went to the amish country and ate at a yummy place called Mary Yoders, we had a picnic, and played baseball at Squires Castle, we went to Chagrin Falls, and the adults, minus Ali, who offered to watch the kids, went to Cedar Point (the roller coaster capital of the world). We had so much fun with our family and wish we could get together more often.

Thanks Kolby and Ali for everything! We hope to visit again soon.

I wanted to share what an amazing mom I have. She is just celebrated her birthday, and thought it would be a great time to do a little post on her. She is my best friend! She is always helping others. She loves the gospel. She loves her grandkids. Loves horses. Has a great husband, and kids that love them both! I don't know if she ever slows down. She keeps busy with teaching at the gym, fufilling her church calling, serving others, and always helping family. I love her so much and want to let her know how grateful I am to have her not only as my friend, but also as my mom. Thanks for the help you willing give me! I hope one day to do the same for you. I love you!

We had a fun Easter weekend! Jordan, Meagan and Easton came and spent Saturday and Sunday with us. We colored eggs on Saturday with the kids. Koryn wanted to "help" sprinkle the glitter, or maybe I should say play and dump it. We had a fun time. Sunday we had an egg hunt, went to church, I did not get a good picture of Koryn in her Easter dress, so that is still to come, and had a yummy Easter dinner. Koryn was a lot of fun this year. She was excited to find the eggs and even more excited to eat what was inside. Imagine that! It also was my brother Deven's birthday that day. His is serving a mission in Argentina, and only has til November! YAY! We love you Dev and Happy Belated Birthday!

So are you impressed? Two times in a week! What can I say, I am trying to be better.

Today my mom made a cake and gave Koryn the beaters. It was so funny to watch. At first she was trying to stick the whole thing in her mouth, but it wasn't long before she got the hang of it! It's a little scary, she automatically sees brown and knows it ChOcOlAtE. I guess she got that from her ZeeZee, cause we all know I'm not a chocolate fan. HuH...I wish! She's is such a big girl, and it makes me a little sad to see how fast she has grown.

Okay, okay here it is. AN UPDATE! I know it might be hard to believe but I guess I am going to take a minute and update my blog. The few of you that read my oh so interesting blog have been bugging me to update it. Well...here's the problem I DON"T HAVE ANYTHING EXCITING TO POST ABOUT. I feel like all I do lately is be a mom, wOrK, and be a mom. Pretty exciting huh!

I did start a new job last month, and have been so busy learning the tricks of the trade. I am a loan processor, and had no idea there was sooo much to learn! I think it will be a good thing, once I get trained I can work from home. I just can't seem to stop working while I sleep each night. I am sure you all have been there, and I know it will pass, it's just getting to that point.

Koryn is doing really well. She is at the stage that it is almost impossible to get a decent picture of her. She goes a hundred miles a minute! It is a little challenging being a single parent, but my mom and dad are amazing, and give me some great help!! Here are a few fun things about KoRyN I love! her crazy morning hair, patting her leg to get the dog's attention, offering hugs and UMA's (kisses), her cheesy grin, her out-streched arms wanting to hold her baby cousin EaStOn, her face when she sees her ZeeZee, her purple lips after eating a favorite, frozen bluberries. I really could go on and on, but I won't.

Well there you have it a post. I know it is not the most entertaining, but that's what I have to offer. Oh yeah I need to add that I am not the best writer, and I usually keep posts pretty simple. I will have some pics to post soon, so don't give up on me!

This last week I decided that Koryn's mullet was getting a little out of control! The front of her hair went down to her chin, but the back was clear down to the middle of her back! We had ZeeZee cut it for us in her little shop. Koryn was actually pretty good. We just had to keep her entertained with treats, books, and really anything that caught her eye. I wish I could find some pictures to show her sweet mullet...but I'm having a hard time. I will post one if I find a good one!!

Christmas was so fun this year with Koryn. She was opened presents and seem somewhat interested in the toys. I think with everything that was going on, and having Jaxson and Emma here she got sidetracked pretty easy. We still enjoyed having all our family together, except Dev, who is serving a mission in Argentina...but, we did get to talk to him on Christmas Day. It was soo good to hear his voice. I miss that kid!

I am really behind on posting...so here it goes. I will have a million posts today, and then I probably won't post again forever. I think that's the only way I blog.
ANYWAY...on December 10th my brother Jordan and his wife Meagan had a baby boy!! His name is Easton, and I have to say he is so stinkin' cute! Just wanted to Congratulation Jordan and Meagan and let them know I love them.

Wednesday night we went to our ward party. Koryn was able to sit on Santa's lap for the FIRST time. She did so well, she didn't throw a fit or even cry! I think she was too intrigued with Santa's white shiny hair. She kept trying to pull off his beard. It was quite funny! I really can't believe how fast she is growing and how much she has changed. Christmas will be fun this year!
